Everton, who are 11th in the Premier League, have been sponsored by the Thai beer producer Chang since 2004 and earlier this year agreed a three-year extension worth a reported £16m. Celtic, the Scottish champions, are in the second season of a three-year sponsorship deal with Irish cider firm Magners, which earns them an estimated £ a year. They, and Glasgow rivals Rangers, were both sponsored until last year by the lager brand Tennent’s and have previously been simultaneously sponsored by Carling, another beer brand. Both clubs declined to respond to the letter.
Congress required the CPSC to convene a phthalates chronic hazard advisory panel (CHAP) composed of scientific experts to study the health effects of the three interim banned phthalates in addition to similar phthalates alternatives. The CHAP examined the possible health effects of phthalates as they act on the body individually and in combination with one another. A copy of the CHAP’s final report and CPSC staff’s executive summary is available here https:///https:///s3fs-public/pdfs/blk_pdf_CHAP-REPORT-With- .
Cuba has prohibited smoking in most work places, removed cigarette machines and made it illegal to sell tobacco products near schools since February 2005. The ban included prohibiting smoking in closed public space, public transportation, educational, health and sporting institutions. However, the ban was not very effective as a study revealed that more than 50% of the population are being exposed to smoking in daily life. In 2014, Cuban authorities said that they are working on passing further anti-smoking legislation. Such legislation will prevent the sale of cigarettes to teenagers under the age of 18. The new legislation will also require tobacco companies to add graphic warnings on the packets.
